Project Overview
Through creative strategies, numerous multinational firms like Nike, Adidas, and others are improving future customer experiences. One of those is the total transformation of retail experiences into a remarkable digital experience, which dramatically increases consumer interaction and provides an excellent in-store customer experience.
Project Goal
The project's objectives are to create an outfitters business brand based on Southern Ontario and to build a multimonitor project for interactive retail installations and video displays.
01
The Brand
The target audience for our brand are travellers and outdoor enthusiast who share the characteristic traits of wilderness explorer. We believe the major chunk of our customers will be from 18 to 45 years-old who loves travelling along with other outdoor activities including hiking and biking. The brand personifies products that would support these people on their outdoor ventures in conservation areas, hiking trails and other natural attractions in and around Ontario.
Products
Green Alpine provide high quality rugged and tough products that will survive harsh usage and will stay together during these adventures. The products will be stylized in such a way to attract the young urban class with at most attention to comfort and practicality. These products will be made available in all major cities and towns within Ontario.

02
Customer Journey
There are total of 3 stations: Interactive Catalogue Station, Rotating Product Station & Touch Screen Ordering Station. Customers can explore the prodcuts and start the Journey based on their interests.
Interactive Catalogue Station
The digital details of the items that are actually on sale in the store are available on the Interactive Catalogue Station. Pushbuttons and light sensors are used for interactions. There are a few products placed on a table, and each one is either physically connected to a push button and a string. When the customer picks up the item, presses the designated button, a string activates and the product's complete reviews and features are displayed on the screen.
Rotating Product Station
Rotating product station is another technically advanced feature to improve the retail experience. This is a gesture controlled feature. Rotating product feature can track the hand gestures and movements of the customer. This is with the assistance of a leap motion device or controller that allows the customer to view the product from 360-degree angle with simple hand swipe. For example, if it is a bag, then the user can open and close the zip pockets to get a more intimate experience of how the product appears. This is achieved with the assistance of motion graphics. What makes this station different is the video overlay. Once the overlay video appears, the user has the option to gather more information about the product.
Touchscreen Ordering Station
This is the station where the customers actually decide which product they need to purchase. It requires a touch screen display. the user will be given options to select multiple varieties of the item like color, size, etc. After seeing the motion graphics and 360 views from the large screens, customers will try to decide to take a try at the product. at this time this particular system should have multi options like combining the products, comparing the products, adding to cart, etc. The customer should spend more time here. as the customer spends more time the chance of sales will increase. This system will be having a receipt printer and debit/credit machines connected and the user can make the payment after purchasing(something like a self-checkout system as we can see at Walmart).
